/ 02What we respond to faster
We are a small team. To get a faster response, help us help you:
- Specific questions get faster answers than open-ended ones. "What's the roast date on the espresso blend?" beats "tell me about your coffee."
- Press inquiries with a deadline mention the deadline in the subject line. We prioritize these accordingly.
- Order issues include your order number in the subject line. We can pull it up immediately.
- Pitches and proposals work better when they reference something specific we've published. We're more likely to read past the first paragraph.
/ 03What we don't do over email
A few things we politely decline by default:
- SEO / link-building outreach. We don't accept paid links, sponsored posts, or guest posts on the main journal. Please don't ask.
- Generic AI-generated outreach. If we can tell from the first sentence that nothing in the email is about us specifically, the email is going to spam.
- Cold sales calls. We're not the company that wants to switch payment processors right now.
- Crypto / NFT partnerships. Definitively not.
